Fun morning with the boys. Not much of a story, but we saw this deer on camera about 2 weeks ago. He walked out at 115 yards, and I told my oldest to shoot.. he said ďDad, Iím not comfortable shooting that far, why donít you shoot it.Ē Heís shot that far before, but I could tell he was nervous and glad he was able to tell me he wasnít ready.. 7.5 years old.. not a bad one for our area.

Credit to Chad on the ammo.. great performance, got the job done.

Nice. What ammo of his were you shooting? Iíve had really good luck on hogs with the 125 SSTís.

But but but you can't kill anything past 75 yards with 300BO.

Big smiles all around, congratulations. Another impossible 300 BLK shot, jk.
It is an amazing little cartridge.

Thanks, it makes them sick real quick..

Iíve been looking for somthing to punch a big hole for my boys to shoot. The .44 worked well last year but didnít punch through..this .300 blackout hasnít punched through anything either but they fall quick.

I can hardly go without them, and feel bad when I do.

Try the barnes blacktip 110's. The one specifically for the 300 Blackout will get through and leave a nice exit.

The more I use the blackout the more I like it. The recoil is practically nonexistent for the results. And a short barrel works. Within its range, usually more than enough, for the woods and rolling hills.
