Probably, I had a screwdriver that my lab chewed the handle up. I bought a replacement and was telling the guy why, he said bring it in and I will give you a new one. I did, and he gave me a new one. But this was decades ago, when Sears was rocking and rolling, not going belly up like they are today.

Really depends on if it was cast or forged, if its forged ill bet it lasts awhile, if its cast ill give it a few weeks
