From the Outdoor Annual: it is illegal to hunt in a subdivision on lots 10 acres or less in an unincorporated area of a county if the commissioners court, by order, prohibits the discharge of a firearm or the use of archery equipment in such subdivisions. (Contact local county clerk and ask about §235.022, Local Government Code.). Hope your legal. I know if you were in Brown County, you would not be. Cool story Ah, it's good to see that some things never change  Hope you get a chance to drop the 150" ASAP, ProCraft

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

One of the best managers I have ever had said it at a seminar one time a man place money in the middle of the table there were five guys at the table Thomas my manager eventually ask if he could have the money and the man said yes!

I Feed Indian Corn. The deer love it and all the colors make them stay at the feeder longer.

That's why they call it hunting. Not everyone calls it hunting when your waiting on a deer to jump a fence onto 9 acres. Call it what you want, tho.

Not having a 150 class deer in your area the entire hunting season is a much tougher pill to swallow. At least you have reason to go out.

Not the first and probably won't be the last time this happens to you. Yes sir, I haven't laid eyes on him again. I've heard maybe 2/3 shots around me but I know for sure a neighbor shot a doe. And I haven't heard of him bein killed I did have 23-24" wide 8 point come in twice late, I have pics I attended a birthday day party for my grand mother the evening he first came in  I'm taking either given the opportunity
