I think the initial entered through her jaw. After the shot she rared up on her hind legs, let out a loud squeal and took off. I led her and dumped a second round into her shoulder. The second shot caused her to face plant and she almost did a somersault before crashing back down on her belly.

Good kill!
She looks like one of those really young sows. Yes? No? Young, but had 6 young piglets in tow. I had to put a follow up shot on her, so I missed out on taking additional pigs. The last two pigs I've taken in the wheat fields required follow up shots on a running pig. I'm happy with the fact that I'm getting better at leading the target, and making accurate follow up shots.
