bear with me, Iím still breathing a little heavy in this vid because I walked a ways to get close to themÖ and because Iím 60 friggin years old!! first shot was 125 paces. closest pig that ran towards me finally got dumped at 20 paces. helps to take out the sows. no one left to lead the way out.
cold and quiet. boar was in stripped cotton. had to straddle the furrow to sneak in. too close to the middle and dry leaves crunched under my feet. too far to the sides and the stalks scraped my pants. stopped once and decided he was still too far. very slow going, so the second time I stopped I decided to try a shot. held a little high for good measure. you canít hear them, but every shot hit. I stepped off 250 paces to him. notice how far I had to lead. 2x zoom, or 9 power, is misleading and I often donít lead far enough because they look a lot closer.
