Have a few bucks which are already busted up showing up on camera. Is this something to be concerned with? (Weak genetics)

Or a good thing? (There's a big, bad, bruiser out there)

I think it means your buck to doe ratio is right on.

Sometimes just happens, some deer are scrappers and fight it out some never break a point. We had a buck that hopped around from 11-13 points for a few years till we shot him as a typical 12. In prior years he had busted every tine of nearly level with the main beams, they looked like huge spikes with lumps on them.
