Seems the ridiculous amount of acorns is keeping the deer away from the feeders. Protein and corn feeder have been untouched for a while now. We've seen deer on trails but nothing coming in yet.
What's everyone else seeing?

We hunt in SW Eastland Co. Deer are coming to our corn but not staying too long. We have 3 times the number of pigs that we did last year though, shot 2 this last weekend.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

Bucks are on the move looking for does. Hogs have disappeared.
If you shoot a young deer because a neighbor will shoot it, you are that neighbor.
