Does anyone use the rechargeable batteries that invented sells? Curious if they stay plugged in under recoil . Thinking about trying them out. Tired of buying the individual batteries that last long enough to get to the pigs, but not long enough to kill them all .....

Rechargeable batteries will not work in the IRD, or won't work very well. They don't have enough juice. You need to buy quality CR123s like Energizer or Panasonic, or get an external power supply that is sold (sold out right now) by Ultimate Night Vision.

Sorry that question wasn’t clear. Was referring to the external power supply mentioned above . Does it work like it should, or does power cord come out on recoil? Thanks

It works as stated. Turn it on at the beginning of the night and turn it off when you're done hunting. I haven't had any issues with recoil and the plugs. I've gotten 20+ hrs between charges in 50-70 temps and hunted in the 20's one weekend and after 12 hrs I still had 1/4 battery. These times are leaving it on constantly.
