There were a couple of blinds left on this place, which we took in to our place.

It has a tower blind that is 4x4 and the windows will need to be replaced. It has sliding plexiglass in grooves. E slots are about 6 inches by 12 inches.

The blind is metal. What do you suggest on size. I can always lay it down and use my grinder to expand windows.

Got deer view and really like them. But this being metal, would they attach ok? They simply screwed in my frame, once I figured out the pieces...

I like a 10-12 inch tall window width would be based on size but on a 4x4 id prob put 1 3 ft window centered in the front and then a 2ft window on each side

24x12 is my favorite.

I have deer view on 11 blinds and they are worth every penny. I have the sliders on two blinds and hinged on the rest. I prefer the hinged because there quiet. The sliders have a better fit and finish as far as making a seal but are a little noisy especially after dirt and dust gets in the tracks. I had 3 of the 24x12 hinged windows come apart, it looks like the glue never cured to the glass on the aluminum trim around the glass, I just used epoxied and fit the trim back in place, I'll know if worked when I go back in Mid Dec.

Depends on what you are hunting.
I like smaller 6" or 7" height for deer - just enough to get gun out window and clear view for scope.
I like 12" tall for night time pig hunting to allow more open view for scanning and shooting with NV.
Width according to blind size but like to leave some wall to hide behind and help eliminate "skylighting" by daytime game animals.

Never thought about that, good idea! I have shutters for my blind that fit in the metal track the window slide thru... I'm going to do some work on that this week... pics to follow

I would leave the windows at that size. Less likely for the deer to see you in the blind.
