We have a flat panel TV and DVD player with a USB port we run off of batteries and an inverter. Plug a thumb drive size chip reader into the DVD player. Works great.

I've been using the sd cards for years, and just keep some extras to swap out. You can see a lot more detail at home on your computer.

Pull the card on the way to stand use the lightning card reader and load them to 7+ and look at them in stand. Delete from card and phone and return to camera on the way out.

If I remember to bring my chip reader I will pull it before I hunt and look at it in the stand but if I'm not hunting I'll bring a replacement and check it at home

MacBook Air. We go pull all the cards and swap them with empty cards. We’ll look at all the cards at the same time

YUP, extra cards.. I just pull cards out and put in clean card...view them at home. Cards are cheap. You dont need big ones unless you have a buttload of activity and your using video mode.

This is what I do, usually swapping the cards after the morning hunt.

Smart tv can read the cards if you hook up a sd card reader on the back. Not sure if ALL smart tvs can though.

Stealth card reader, if you use a camera to view them it will corrupt the card! Also have several cams hooked to Moultrie Mobile Wireless, for $10 @ month you get to view the photos with smart phone or home pc. No need to smell up your hunting area, no contract needed and you can cancel services during the off season with out any problems.
Last weekend my son-in law saw that we had 3 bucks on I-phone mid morning and left his blind and was able to sneak into range to take a nice buck! usually not that easy! but pretty fun to try...

I use the 2 things. In field, when u want a quick check, I use the stealth cam reader/viewer. $50 at academy.
Or I swap them out with new ones and take back to look on laptop. I try to remember formatting cards once installed back in cameras.

I mostly use a laptop. If I need to see them in the field I take my tablet and use this adapter. It's cheap and so far it has worked great.

I agree a camera can corrupt a card and next time around you have nothing. I swap out the cards and view them at home on the computer...and then format them every time.

Same here

Almost the same.
I have a waterproof hard case that holds 8 SD cards and services 5 game cameras.
Since the contacts wear after a while and I usually check them daily, I use the microSD to standard SD card converters and use 4GB microSD cards in all of them.
When the contacts on adapter wear, I toss the adapter and move the microSD card over to a new one.
Adapters are under a buck each and cheaper than SD cards!
I also set the lock to write and put a drop of superglue on it so it stays in write position.
Haven't had to replace an actual SD card since I started doing this.

I simply change them out and view them on my home PC.
The 40" monitor sitting on my desk shows details that are lost on phones, laptops, etc.

Why would you be checking cards daily? Or are you an outfitter

Nope...retired!
It's just part of my daily routine.

Right now, hogs are hit and miss.
They show for a few days and then disappear for a while.
If I see pigs on game camera 2 days in a row, they usually show up a 3rd time and I give them a dirt nap...
And they disappear for 2-3 weeks again!

Just found a device that will plug into my Samsung S7 phone to view game cam chips in the field. It is an Insignia Micro USB SD/microSD card reader. Cost $9.99. A review I read said go to the My Files app find the new USB drive to view the pictures on the chip. The drawback here was you can only view one file at a time...... but I found an "X-plore" app on my phone that let me pan through the pictures like I would in the Samsung picture Gallery app.
I Bought it at Best Buy and there skew # is 5787400.

I used to use my tablet but since I went with cellular cams I don't go near them anymore except every 6 or 7 months to replace the batteries....
