I have killed deer and hogs with Nosler 180s mostly but have also killed a few with Remington 158gr soft points and Hornady Leverevolution 140s. From a handgun most of the 158gr soft point hollow points will work
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

CORBON or Buffalo Bore for factory ammo.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

I don't think these are legal for deer because they don't expand, but I have no doubt they would work. You are good to go on bumfuzzling hogs though.

Work great on hogs, I’ve used them on 250lb + hogs, via 357sig. Dropped one-high shoulder/spine, shot other one be hind shoulder and it went 45 yards. I also use them in my 380

158 gr. SJHP. Many good manufacturers. Expansion is excellent at the ranges you will be shooting. Know your trajectory, study it. I have hunted often over the years with a .357 and it is more than adequate for the job on deer and hogs +. Good luck, you are probably going to love this.

That is one mean looking bullet! I'm fairly dialed in on the range. It'll be about 30 yds or less, same spot I've been getting them with the crossbow. Thx

HSM Bear ammo. Cheaper than Buffalo Bore and has worked fine for me.
