Well, I got my new Pulsar Trail XP38 in Monday, but it was too humid outside to see too far. Went out tonight to check some fields for hogs, but nothing was moving. I saw this Yote bedded down in some tall grass and got her to stand with a lip squeak. Zipped one round from the 300 blk into her at about 70 Yds. She had a great coat on her, but I didn't feel like messing with it. The new scope is light years better resolution than my Apex XQ38. I'm very glad I made the jump and upgraded.

Well done! Glad you're happy with your new Pulsar. I'm tempted, but haven't quite been able to justify going thermal just yet. I'm only about $3,000 short of what I need to jump in the thermal pool!

Yeah, price detoured me for years, but once I made it happen I was hooked.

Yeah, price detoured me for years, but once I made it happen I was hooked. I hear you, Rob, but when it comes to making mortgage payments or hunting thermal, the darned mortgage payments always seem to win out! Being retired and on Social Security, my financial options are somewhat limited!!
