Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the rules to hunting lake Somerville. I'm aware that there are certain spots that you can only hunt from the shore? Does that mean I can bank the boat or is it walk in? This will be our first time going out there, I found some maps but they aren't very clear.ive tried to contact the game warden but haven't had any success with that yet. Thank you for any help!

In an effort to keep you from getting hammered for naming a lake. Here is a link that has the phone number in it to the controlling authority. I've called several and most are very helpful. https://tpwd.texas.gov/fishboat/fish/recreational/lakes/somerville/

Also, SniperJohn's post at the top that is pinned has a ton of good info and links in it.

Good luck.
