Just shot a pretty NM mullie. Had to pack him 3 miles, a whole deer in one trip just wasn't going to happen, so he came out in batches. I saved as much cape as I could, back to just behind the front legs. The head and neck are still in it. I'll probably finish caping it tomorrow.
1. Do I need to measure anything before I finish caping it? 2. Should I put anything on it, or just freeze it? 3. Any recommended taxidermists within a reasonable range of Lubbock TX or Llanno TX? 4. How much should I expect to pay for shoulder mount?
Thanks in advance!

Freeze it,Jerry Huffaker of Huffaker taxidermy, Abiline TX, 325-672-2778, his work speaks for itself, price is really irrelevant. DC

Dropped it off at Haffaker. He was a really nice guy, and talking with him just really put me at ease that he was someone you would trust with your animal. The stuff in his shop that was ready for pick-up looked excellent. I'm glad I took it there.
