We had a lot of movement Sat & Sun morning in Shackelford county. Hunted in shorts Sat afternoon, it was 92, just a couple of doe. Had a really big 8 come in right at first light Sat and I just put my binos on him when something darted in front of him. Dang pig running past like a scalded ape. Looked back and the buck was gone. He came back early Sun morn but was hot on a doe scent and I couldn't get him to stop for a shot. I'll be back after him Fri morn. Still an exciting opening weekend.
