I got my CTR in .260 and love it.

Got a T3X CTR in 308 last year,it wasn't grouping like I expected it to.
Owned numerous T3s and grew up on Sakos.. All shot great.
Also the mag would eject when fired.

Got a 6.5 for another guy and it was fantastic out of the box.

I put the 308 back in the safe until this week when I got a bug.
Found a quick fix for the mag ejecting and free floated the stock where it was contacting for about 4" in front of the action. Took it out and shot it, several loads, all under an inch and the 178 ELDX was a cloverleaf group.

Going to be a fun project gun, have new bottom metal that takes AI mags (love those $30 PMAGs) from Mountain Tactical, they are also sending a rail that has an itegrated lug.

Next up will be to chop the barrel to 16 and thread it. Exploring options on stocks.

They are shooters for sure. I bought a lefty 22-250 T3x lite with the 1-8 twist here is the results of some Barnes 70 grain TSX. I'm just getting started shooting it but so far I'm very pleased.

So it's possible to use it without the 10 round mag?
