whats the pipe? is it chained to your feeder? It's a Feral Crack Pipe. 5' long piece of 4" SCH40 PVC with a single 1/2" hole in pipe tethered to Tpost with welded chain to keep it from wandering off. Once a pig finds it, they will spend hours pushing the pipe in a circle as it drops out a kernel or two every time it rotates out of the 1/2" hole. I have 5 and 6 hour sequences on my game camera where a pig pushes it around and around and around. Throw in a handfull of rocks bigger than the hole and fill with corn. After the corn is emptied out, the pigs will still roll it around for quite a while with the rocks making noise.

That is one crazy looking hen..... Yeah, the cream or white ones were pretty common around here but I am seeing them less and less. There was an 18 wheeler load of white turkeys that turned over on highway about 6 miles from here. It turned over in early 1970's and while they caught most of them, quite a few escaped. I'm sure coyotes, bobcats, dogs and other predators took a bunch of them too. Here is a shot from my front yard taken thru my patio door.

that color hen is not that unusual but them reaching adult stage is more unusual. Turkeys have several color phases but the white and bronze ones have ore trouble hiding when young from predators.

Yes, we once had a lease on the Lampsas River east of town. We had a large population of turkey and lots of white among the birds. Rancher said that a neighbor was raising turkey and a storm wrecked his pens, allowing the domestics to escape and inter breed with the wild Rio Grande flocks. As time went by, we saw fewer and fewer evidences of white.

I've always heard them called "gun smoked" turkeys. I shot one in Kansas several years ago with my bow.
