Had to head out to hunt the chilly weather so I got in the blind at 5:30 am and planned to sit until 9. I didn't exactly do the best job of staying awake and had my hands under my jacket to keep warm (I was in a brush blind). I dozed off and on for about 30 mins until one time I woke up and saw a nice 8 point standing there about 20 yards away. He didn't smell me and didn't seem too alert but I could tell he knew something was up. Before I had a chance for a shot he was gone, extremely bummed and I was kicking myself the rest of the sit.

On the bright side I have a couple of pictures/ videos of this guy coming in, definitely something to look forward to.

It happens but I'd want to wait for this sticker you have picks of anyway. Good luck.

I missed it as well when I 1st read it, if it had been like above and not a run on paragraph, separating the subjects, I'd have got it the 1st time...Maybe grin

That is a fine buck, maybe the sleep will have done you a favor if you can put a tag on the one in the photo up
