Alright, I am a little excited that I have decided my daughter is finally ready to start hunting and actually shoot a deer this year. She has told me she is ready since she was 6, but I didn't think she was. After our turkey hunt this Spring, she taught me that she was ready, so this weekend is going to be the start of it. Needless to say, we are both fired up!!!

How about some past success and pictures of some youths in the field!!

I will start grin

Can't go without my oldest. He got the bug at an early age. I can't find the pic, but he shot his first rabbit at 4years old. Middle child isn't into hunting as much but he will go fishing..

First deer last season..

Hardest working turkey hunter I know.

Opening day this year.. still looking for his first buck.

Wife's yearly tradition, have one for every year since he started going to the blind with me at 3.

My daughter's first deer and first trophy buck. They grow up fast! She'll be getting her driver's permit in a few months.

Great pictures! Appreciate y’all sharing. Good luck to those that are making out in the woods this weekend. Hope the cooler weather gets them moving for everyone.

I love these kind of threads.
It's great to see our kids enjoy the outdoors and have the privilege to hunt and fish at the same time. up
Excellent thread

As a hunting outfitter I am in the very fortunate position to teach my son (DJ) almost everything about hunting and conservation.

Here is a few of this years pictures.

DJ with an Impala female he shot for Honey Badger bait

DJ with a Baboon he shot for Leopard bait.

Only one day later and a young female was on the bait

DJ guided his friend Andrian Els from Pretoria on this outstanding Warthog boar

DJ and hunting client with an outstanding Zebra mare shot late in the afternoon.
