Some may come back....I'd go over it with oats or wheat......scratch it in and wait.....

Yeah, until the heat comes back it is not too late. Oats, as snake suggested, is good.

I would not hesitate to replant. We still have a lot of 65+ degree days and no real hard frosts in the near future, so you should be fine.

Replant after first freeze. If you are in our part of the country army worms got you most likely.

Heat burned up my oats too in NTx. Turnips/radishes survived. Re-broadcasted some oats just before the rain few days ago. Hard to get it established without occasional rain!

Army worms wait till after freeze and replant. On a ranch I guide they got two fields. If you catch it early enough you can spray and kill them.

My oats are growing still, but peas aren't going to last without some rain.

Deer took out my legumes before they got 4 inches bang Oats and wheat where hanging on, but with the deer pressure combined with dry fall, lost most, Put out more oats yesterday, no one had wheat seed as it appears a lot of folks are trying to re-plant, some from dry weather, many from worms.
