Anyone have any preferred holster makers around Fort Worth that can make me a custom holster? I'm hoping for a local maker so I can fully explain in person what I am looking for. And maybe try it out before the build is final. I used my Google-Fu a bit and found Trinity Ordinance near Lake Worth does custom holsters but I have never heard of them before. At the least, they sell Kydex so I could try to make one myself. More likely throw money away on a poor attempt to make one. But I am pretty handy and would be willing to give it a try. https://www.trinityordnance.com/fort-worth-gun-store-cerakote-kydex-holsters-chl/So what am I wanting? I want a holster that will work for a pistol with a suppressor. The gun is an H&K USP Tactical 45 with a SilencerCo 45 Osprey. For some reason I am always picturing the 1980s RoboCop holstering his gun when I think of it. I came across the following on FB and contacted the maker. My use is for when I am at the ranch. I carry it for pigs when walking or when riding around in the Ranger. So it would need to be secure enough to stay in the holster over bumps and be comfortable both while walking or while sitting. I contacted the guy who made that above holster and while he says he talks to customers about what they need, but I don't think he understood how to make it comfortable while standing and sitting. It's a long weapon so a fixed belt clip like he uses won't work. I asked if there was any kind pocket clip, he said it wouldn't work. I asked for a leg holster, he said no. I asked if there was any kind of indexing swivel belt clip, he said no. I looked through his holsters and while they are all nice, it looks like he uses one fixed clip for them all. For a gun this size, I'd love to get a holster built to work like a leg holster because I think that would be the most comfortable for standing and sitting.

East doesn't get on her much anymore. I'd contact him through his website. ffrholsters.com
I think he is more into making cnc molded holsters these days, I'm not sure if he still does one off holsters, but doesn't hurt to ask.

I ended up going with A1CustomTac in Arlington. A friend had used him before and after looking at some of his work, I was impressed. You dream it up and the guy can do it. He's got a drawer full of holsters that make you go, "Wow". I talked with him and he immediately understood what I was wanting. He said he should have it in a week. I'm not going for anything fancy, camo outside and functional. I'll post up some pics after I take it hunting. https://www.facebook.com/a1customtac/http://a1customtac.com/
