Just because you don’t see the fawns doesn’t mean they aren’t there

great pyrenees leaves a print. Lot of people just turn them out to protect livestock.

I always haul my mountain lion around with me when I go to the lease. That way I always have him when I need him.

Chupacabra most definitely. Known to frequent the area, and like to travel in mud.

You did what?

Could it be this looks very similar, almost identical.

Thanks Josh,

This was from a 2-3 yo tom, weight at 160 and change. I got the tracks after an outfitter friend at the time put the dogs on the trail, after around 10 miles in a circle, his client took this cat. Age came from his guess and the DOW biologist when he brought him in. They get bigger, he called this a "good to medium" tom.

The track above was on the edge of a dirt road when I found them, probably 5/8 deep cast, normal walk, 0 claws marks. btw, the claw marks are usually more of a "slit" at the tip and dont seem to protrude out as much as a canine, can be pretty deep when the cat needs traction, I wish i'd have taken a haul azz track, Cats general travel mode is a steady walk, canine usually a form of gait. Also consider walking gait foot spread, this cat had over a 36" walking step iirc

Almost like it could be a big domestic dog, of which there are a helluva lot more of them in Texas than wolves.

It could have been, but coons fighting can make a similar sound that’ll leave you wanting to be anywhere else.

Which one.. the Sasquatch the Lion or the Alien. I wouldn’t shoot a Sasquatch now as their fur is not that good until early December.

The two are not necessarily related. I have seen a bunch of deer tracks and managed to shoot a hog later that night at the same location, LOL.
