First opener I am missing in almost 25 years; my cousin is getting married at the Naval Academy. He is a Texas kid and should have known better not to mention that for a Marine, I'd think he would have better 'scene control', as well.
I will be boarding a flight for Maryland right at legal shooting time on Saturday morning. Hope every single one of you connect and tag out so the woods will be quiet when I return.

11/04/2017 Up at 5:30 am hit the on button for  after coffee take a  then eat a strawberry pop tart no icing. Depending upon how much fun I had Friday eve & night, fill the thermos with more Jo and get in the stand by 6:45 for first legal shooting light is 7:23. Stay in blind until 10:30 am then go eat a real breakfast  same but gotta have icing

Big thick rib eyes Friday night after the bow hunt. Along with beers, anticipation, and good conversation with Dad. Wake up Sat morning about 5:45-6:00, roll out to the blinds about 6:30 and have a hot cup of coffee waiting for me when we get back around 10:00. Cannot wait...

Opening weekend I'll be hunting the PW Ranch for axis doe for the freezer. I will hunt on a friends lease near Jacksboro whenever I want to, during the week.
My big hunt will be Weekend before Thanksgiving with my daughter on one of Mulie Mikes ranches chasing a trophy whitetail and she will be after axis doe for her freezer.

Welp, heading out Friday morning, as early as I can so I can set up and get it all ready and then watch the sun go down.. then.. I may hunt.. may not hunt.. may just drink coffee and watch animals, who knows :P
Hunting is easy..it's getting permission from your wife that is tough.
