So here is my scenario. I'm a long time gun hunter but have recently gotten into bow hunting and really tried to put a lot of effort into "doing it right this season" Meaning I tried to make sure sure I had bow set ups for different wind directions, paths to sneak to and from my stands, etc. I have seen several does and young bucks this bow season but all of the better bucks just so happen to be showing up on camera where I don't have a bow set up, only gun. My question is, is it too late to be trying to set up a new bow spot? I hunt a small property with a lot of hunting pressure and certainly don't want to bump any deer in the process. Thoughts?

So I almost only bow hunt. It's not to late. Just do your work mid day. There is still plenty of browse for deer. You'll want to be done soon for when deer are really depending on corn feeders

My advice to to set up on edges when possible. You never want to bowhunt in the middle of your area. Think about where your scent is going. If your on edges and it's blowing into a big field on your neighbors property that's better then right through the middle of your hunting area.
I usually divide the section north to south. I hunt the east and west perimeters. So I have cross wind set ups. I can hunt on North or South east and north or south west.
Usually in my area in the pan handle you get north or south east till about mid December. Then the west winds are more common after that.
I always sit 30 yards or more so back from the feeder. You can drop corn closer if you need a closer shot. It also helps to have a pen around your feeder. Keep the side closest to the stand lower so the deer will walk to the low side to enter the pen. Then you can have corn piles placed there to hold them on your side of the pen or just outside of it on your side.

That is great advice, thank you. That's been the hardest part for me, staying on the edge while anticipating where the deer are going to be coming from

I'd buy yourself a climber. Recently I bought one for that same reason. I have a tree line of white oaks that I had seen lots of activity at. I didn't want to spook the deer so I bought a climber and found the perfect tree about 10 yards in to climb. Saw more deer that day than any day at my feeders. Oh and hand corned some shooting lanes as well. After they browsed on acorns the went to the corn.

I've relocated my bow stand twice the last 2 weeks. Learn something new on each sit!

My first bow deer I had moved a stand around noon about a month into the season to a trail leading to a feeder about a hundred yards away. Killed a buck on my first sit that evening. Perfect heart shot that only went about 15 yards. I kept getting winded by deer circling down wind of the feeder before coming in.
