Headed to the ranch Friday night and was greeted by a couple of Mr. No Shoulders as I was unpacking. I guess the approaching front had them on the move. Killed four in the dark. The next morning, I knew there were more seeking a place to den up and killed four more. The biggest was about 4 1/2 feet long. Don't need them around our cabin. Sorry snake lovers. Here are five of them:
Saturday morning shot a large boar at first light and then later on a sow and a football sized piglet. I wish I would have taken a photo of the boar. He had some nice cutters. Sunday morning shot a small boar. Sunday evening a raccoon and a nice doe. This morning I got this old management 8 point. He weighed 188 lbs and was a toad for me to load myself.
All total, 8 rattlesnakes, 4 hogs, 1 raccoon, a doe and a management buck.
