My 11 year old Nephew drew the Whitetail doe tag down there from Nov 9th - 19th. His dad and I have never hunted down there so we are both not sure what to expect. Looking at Onx it looks like the South end of the unit has more opportunity with the Umatilla Nat forest , and the Rainwater wildlife area . We're planning on going down next weekend to check things out . Are we on the right track ?
Thanks

Where exactly is Dayton 162?

You are talking about the state of Oregon right? Could not find anything in Texas with these names. Good luck on the hunt.
