Hunting unless you donít have a bow or mld tag>. not Dove hunting....then just stay at home. Crowds and people..not my cup of tea,

Get some thin bacon and grill them. It will be worth the long drive food

I've got a harvested corn field to hunt in the city limits of Corpus. I have limited out the past 3 days in less than an hour. It's really too easy.

I'm with you on the crowds, but not many at all dove hunting in October. In fact not many after opening weekend. Best time to go.

If you're talking about going to the game, then Texas/OU for sure. I'm all for hunting, but sitting in a bow blind in full camo and a head net in 90*+ is even less enjoyable than it sounds. Made the mistake of facing one of mine right into the setting sun one year when the weather was like that in October. Not the smartest thing I've done.

Taking the boys to the lease. My 10 yr old has some target practice to do, and gotta help the old timer move his tower blind. I gotta clear some trees from my shooting lane, and wire the hog panels if they're still standing. I just zip tied them a week ago because I didn't have time to wire them. I'd choose the hockey game though if I were you Hetman!!!

Feed, put up a couple of new blinds, hang out with friends and let my son do what he loves, hunt!
