With only 2 weeks to get a hunt together we were blessed with 4 Tags. The San Antonio office did a bang up Job putting this hunt together. I was honored to be asked to be Huntmaster. We had 3 young men and one young lady who hunted their harts out. 3 of our youth hunters filled their tags.
It is amazing how many fine people can and will drop everything to go on this hunt. We had a Top notch staff and about the finest youth Texas has to offer. This hunt has always been ran out of San Antonio office, but I have been offered the Huntmaster job from here out, of course Bob will be helping. We look forward to building it to be one of the very best in the state.
Thank You Robert

Way to go. Those TYHP hunts are a lot of fun and rewarding, not just to the kids.

My understanding is that the National Grasslands were a little soggy. They had to pull one out. I Have talked to all the staff including Chris Mitchel out of the San Antonio office yesterday and we are going to try and build the program here in the Panhandle. Looks like good times are on the way.
Thank You Robert

Looks like good times are on the way. Great news! I had looked into volunteering a few years ago but all the hunts were south Texas-centered. My schedule is unpredictable but if you need help, let me know. I have a profile setup on TYHP.
