But I can't imagine how much it weighs on my dad's heart. My sister sent this picture this morning. My step-mom passed away in June after a short battle. She retired in November and spent the last month in the hospital. I don't mind using the term "stepmom" because Judy came into my life when I was one and earned that title. She took on a job that my real mom refused. She brought a brother and a sister to us and an eternal partner for my dad. Today is the first time I've cried since I told her goodbye.

I pray for my wife if she ever has to endure what my dad has gone through with his loss.

Sounds like Judy gave much love to your Dad and the family. As your words have shown, the love never dies.

Godspeed Judy. angel

I'm hard to wrangle on the weekends. But give me a call/text.
