Just returned from a week in Illinois on family business.Their picking corn and combining soybeans. I have never seen this many Doves in the fields this time of year. There where hundreds if not thousands of them working the fields. They have had record warmth and little rainfall in the last 2 months. So that's where your dove are still up north getting fat, maybe they will be here for the second season.

They going to be hungry when they get here. Nothing left in the fields near me. Harvested or burned up, Cardinals are fat though. grin

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.
