Hi Guys,
First post here so don't be too rough on me. As an avid hunter I have found myself between finding a great hunting clothing company that is reliable, fits a budget, and is based on Texas. As most of you may know, Deer, exotics, etc. do not see patterns as we do but instead are based on shading and how perceive trees and terrain is completely different. I have decided to create my own taking out the middle man much like KUIU has done but to be designed for our needs and terrain. If you had a company like this would you be interested? What are the best features? I want everything to be out of necessity and not for looks. Example, built in neck gaiter, pockets for where your hands would go naturally.
Thanks guys, before going to manufacturers I wanted to reach out to the people who would be most likely to use.

Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

I would, but sometimes you need or want to spot and stalk....

Personally I stalk and use treestand so that is who I want to target because its who I am. But would something that is more camo focused on top of torso be interesting? It would be alot cheaper to produce. and could offer a better price.

They mean black to stay shaded inside a blind. Pop ups and shadow blinds for bow hunting use a shadow to hide you from seeing inside... wearing camo inside of a pop up will make you stick out more. For box stands you can use really whatever you want since they are more focused to rifle. For this state you need something that meats that fine line between a morning that's in the mid 50s at daylight but then warms close to 80 later in the morning and not have to waist movement shedding clothes imo. You can have some heavy stuff for bad winter times but the majority of archery time frame has a big opportunity for the right fit and weather range pants and coat... iv yet to find one so I mainly wear a hoody with light pants and long warms socks...

Also thanfully many bow hunters are starting to use harness gear now while in a tree... clothes that can stretch or fit harness areas without riding up so much would be nice.... body movements need to do the same... lots of flex in the knees, armpit/shoulders but staying good and fitted to the body will be key... nothing like pulling a string back to have your shirt arm rise out and get caught on release

As far as the pattern... don't get caught up in it... I will use whatever fits best in each set of cloths I can find... that's why I wear at least 4 different types of camo at once lol

Maybe I can't read sarcasm but would you really prefer black? Stand outside a ground blind and close all the windows except for the from and look inside from 15 yds. It will be very dark in there so why not where black and make it almost impossible to be seen?

Thanks for all the replies! This is exactly what I was hoping for. Pattern isn’t my main concern necessarily but personally Texas has so many hunters and for some reason no one wants to focus on them. I’m a Texan and Texas is one of states where people are proud to be here. So want a company that has support from them.

No offense to guys who wear camo but I hunt in an elevated tower blind and never wear anything but very dark shirts/coats. I do occasionally cover my face if deer are close. Good luck with your project.
In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.

If your in the blind and a deer cannot see your silhouette it wont matter the color of clothing. Maybe if the animal is very close the color might make a difference.

IMHO, camo inside blind is kind of a waste, but there are many times I will get tired of sitting and decide to stalk, and then need camo. In really cold weather I wear my good stuff some, but usually just throw on coveralls.
As far as design, especially during warm days in tree, I want something long sleeved and high necked, with maybe a zipper. Like UA material, but loose fitting, and some pockets for my readers or other items that I need close. Sounds silly, but maybe even a pouch like found on hoody to tuck stuff in, but remains handy.
Dalroo Deep in the Heart of Texas How about that Brandon!
