I have no idea, there are new models intro'd all the time, but I have a YHM Stinger that I'm happy with.

I'm not sure "best" has any meaning in this context. All of the majors have good products, it's just a question of finding the one with your hot button features.

I use the SilencerCo Spectre II, no complaints. I recommend pre-treating yours with brake fluid or something like that to make it easier to clean.

Another vote for the Spectre II. I love mine.
Buzz, the best cleaning solution I've found is a gallon can of Berryman Chem-Dip. I just soak everything for 24-48 hours, and then wipe clean with a rag.
I clean my 30 cal cans the same way.

Best is based on what you are looking for:
Want light and quiet - SilencerCo Warlock II is easy to clean, very light and very quiet
Want to use it on other calibers like 5.7, or 22 mag - Dead Air Mask is built like a tank
Like modular - Rugged Oculus is even with the Mask for sound and robustness but also gives you a 3.1" micro suppressor (fits perfect on a Beretta 21a)

This is the Rugged in short configuration (sitting on a AAC Cyclops)

Love my Spectre II.

I tried someone's legal oil filter adapter one time. It was quiet but something was going on where it was not accurate at all. We even tried drilling out the hole to make it larger.

Was it accurate before attaching the oil filter? What type of sighting were you using? Takes a fairly high set of rings.

It was my Savage Mk2 22LR which is pretty accurate with and without my Spectre II suppressor. Has a scope on it that could see over the filter.

I own a Spectre II and love it.
I have tested a lot of them, spent an hour shooting and filming the AAC Halcyon and ThunderBeast Takedown along with my Spectre yesterday. Truth be told you would be hard pressed to hear a difference in any of them. i shot full power, subs,22 mag and bolt rifle and pistol.

I will say the Halcyon was cool because it xould be ran in the short config an still was very effective.

Will be posting up soon.

But flexibility and ease of cleaning are big for rimfire cans and I chose the Spectr II doe those reasons. I havent had can envy shhoting probably a dozen others but I would have also been happy with any of them.
