Been shooting rimfires my whole life. Hell, who hasnt.

When I get tired of loading for precision rifle and dealing with load dev, new bullets, chronographs, I come back to rimfires.

Here are 3 of my favorite.

If you ever need to pry a stock off of yours, I'll loan you my 452. It's basically a pry bar.

Nice Clint, what stock is that red one? I'm needing a new stock for my Ruger Target and I really like that.

Have ya'll seen the KYL shoot on YOUTUBE? I think we spring for one of those target swingers and start having our own KYL matches. $1.00 per shooter in the pot, winner takes pot. we could do this all day and not be out many dollars. I'll try and find the video.

I'm liking getting more rimfire shooting done

I have many 22lr, but these are my two favorites.

The first one is one the best 22lr sporter ever made. It’s an Anschutz 54 action sporter made in 1968 that has been barely shot. It’s a very refined rifle.
The second one is a fully custom CZ I had built earlier this year.
Both rifles are VERY accurate.

How do you like the Boyd's at one stock? Is the palm swell uncomfortable or does it feel pretty good?

Sorry for the delay in response.

The top rifle is my new CZ 452 American in left hand. It wears a Sightron SII 6-24 scope. Other than that it is box stock. It shoots exceptional.

The second rifle is an old 1976 10/22 receiver in a PMACA chassis. It has a BX trigger, tuffer buffer, Magnum Research Ultra tensioned barrel. The scope is a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12 A/O

The third that everyone seems to like started out a month ago as a 455 Varmint. I pulled the factory bbl and stock off of it. Installed a YO Dave trigger kit, replaced the barrel with a Feddersen 16" threaded and slapped on the Boyds At-One stock. The scope is a Mueller 8-32 target.

As far as the stock goes. It is definitely a step up from the standard boyds offerings. It is extrememly well made and robust feeling. The fit was very tight to receiver but the barrel is still freefloated. It shoots exceptional.

I actually like it as it is set up from the factory. Boyds does offer a vertical grip and a wide beavertail forend as optional accessories. I may experiment with that later on, but for now I am happy with it.

Looks like a Lilja barrel. Hows it shoot compared to the Annie?

The barrel on the CZ is a Shilen Ratchet Selected Match 0.850" straight contour. It's not a drop-in barrel. It has been chambered (cone breech), headspaced and permanently attached to the rifle by the gunsmith.

On the average, the Anschutz shoots in the low 0.3s at 50Y; the CZ shoots in mid 0.2s (and under 3/4 MOA at 100Y). But keep in mind that it's more difficult to shoot the Anschutz from a front rest (not very stable).
