This was his 1st year to come with me for opening day of bow season as he is only 6. He hoped out of bed at 430am like it was Christmas morning!! Although we didn’t see any deer, we had us a great time and memories were made. We hunted the ground blind for about a hour and half and he said it was time to move, so we set up a camera down in the bottoms and made a little mock scrape... he wasn’t too thrilled when I told him he had to drink the bottle of deer pee so he’d smell like a buck
Looking to buy him his own hunting bow this Christmas and many more hours sitting in the woods with this dude!

Awesome..... started hog hunting this year with my son and daughter. Can’t wait to take them for deer... but don’t know if I will be able to get them going in the morning, so maybe do some afternoon hunts at first.

That's awesome!! my son couldn't sit still and quite long enough for bow hunting but he's been deer hunting with me since 4 years old. I'd let him decide which does or spikes to take. After every shot he'd jump back and ask"did you smoke him dad"?
