Guys, Some asked me to share if I bought a Bergara. I ordered it last week and picked it up yesterday. I got the scope on it yesterday and headed to the range to try it out. First thing I noticed was the stock when I pulled it out of the box. It's very good looking, I love the way the shape and feel of the grip, and it's adjustable. Then I checked the action...very very nice! Very smooth and easy to cycle. Then I checked the trigger and I'm here to tell you it's fantastic! Very light. As for how it shot there's a pic below that shows two five shot groups. The largest group is from factory Hornady 129gr SSTs. The smaller group is from the ammo I shoot thru my Custom CM, 140gr Berber VLDs. As you can see the group with the VLDs was better and I can't wait to take it to the range to shoot the rounds I've already prepared for it in order to find its sweet spot. So my initial impression is that I understand why this rifle has gotten great reviews! Here are a pics. While at the range I put five rounds down range from my other two Creedmoors. The first target is from my AR-10 and the second is from my Custom. As you can see I simply have to yank one of the five almost every time.

Great choice deerhunter, what scope is that? It's a Zeiss, I pulled it off my 300Mag. I haven't decided what scope I'm going to put on it. I plan to hunt with it a little this year and then I'm going to consider what kind of scope I'm going to get for it permanently.

Damn, I didn't realize they put such nice stocks on their rifles. That's one good looking factory rig.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.

The rifle weighs 9 1/2 lbs and the scope 26oz.

It's starting to look like this rifle is the only excuse someone would have to spend $900 and not get a Tikka CTR. For the same price, most folks are getting the same accuracy, similar slick action and good factory trigger. All with a stock that is quite a bit nicer and cheaper magazine system.
Subscribed. Would love to see what it does with the gold standard for factory Creedmoor ammo: Hornady ELD or Prime. SST ammo always shot like crap in my Creedmoor too.
