What are yalls suggestions? I'm in Brooks county and am wanting to get a tree stand. I've seen some that a base straps on to a limb then you can pivot the seat off of the base and straighten it up. They look pretty good but would like to hear some first hand accounts or suggestions . Thanks

Ladder stands give you many options. Look at them before buying a chain on. Prices will be comperable and their stability can be awesome.

I've used ladder stands with crooked oaks and other trees. Most ladder stands are in 4' sections and you don't have to use all the sections just because you have them....Short trees need love also, you just have to not move as much, or have a lot of cover.
