I need to get something inexpensive to use as a culvert, 10 inch diameter or larger. Maybe 15 feet long. Nee to be strong enough to drive a pickup over when buried.

On a county road, or inside private property?

On a county road, the county will do it cheap. Inside private property, and it's all on your dime.

What does a real culvert cost? Lots of folks sell them and the ends around here.

Do like the afghans. just build a form out of plywood where you want the culvert, put in some rebar and then pour some concrete remove the form and bury it. Im sure there is a little more to it than that but they make some well made culverts out of brick and mortar or just concrete.

RCP or CMP? SETs required? All of the above will effect your price.

My property, not a county road.

12" x 20' long is a little over $200 at Lowes. I've bought two recently.

Did you try Metal Mart in Burleson? I'm sure they sell corrugated pipe in all lengths and diameters.

Just put in a third one. Mom had a narrow one and wanted a 20 footer so we dug out the old one and moved it down to where I come in & out with my pontoon and put a new 20'long 12" diam. plastic at her driveway. I got this one for $175 out the door at Groom & son in Mabank, TX

It’s highly recommended you sit it in a bed of gravel and backfill at least 1/3 up the sides of the pipe. Otherwise during a good rain it can blow that pipe out the surface.
