I wanted to share the story and background of the banded dove killed in one of my fields near Woodson, TX.

I had a hunter kill a banded dove on the opening weekend. He reported it to TPW the following week. The dove was hatched in Breckenridge, TX this year. The bird was banded on 8/20/17 in Stephens County.

The field that this bird was killed in is about 25 miles North of Breckenridge, TX.

Pretty cool Justin, I checked all mine out there, no jewelry.
Always wondered about them though. up
