I have the S&W and a H&K both in AR platform .22LR.

Do they make a .22 Mag in the same platform?

That is too cool. Love the concept. Always wanted a volquartsen in 22wmr or 17hmr because a semi in either seems awesome. This is cheaper.

Keep in mind 22mag ammo is $0.26 a round. That 22lr is $0.06, you can burn money a lot faster with that semi auto 22mag. I can't speak from first hand experience because I backed away from the semi auto mag and stuck with my bolt but I heard some about some cycling issues, take that for what you paid for it. There is a reason Ruger discontinued the 10/22mag.

Might as well just shoot .223 for that money.

I don't see the application either.

I have more .22 WMR than I will shoot in my lifetime. I think a .22 WMR upper is a great idea.

Buzz...lots of companies make them and I've had several, but my favorite is Tactical Solutions.

Then get a Compass Lake upper. They are substantially more expensive than a CMMG or TacSol.

I built my complete .22lr upper using the cmmg bcg and barrel. I use black dog magazines and it's a blast to shoot. It gets used more than my other 2 ARs

www.google.com can answer these questions, and many more.
