I'm on the Dove lease and have not had much luck since opening day. Anybody else on this lease

Yeah I am on the lease as well and wondering where all the birds are? Been hunting Solano for the past 5 years and never seen it this bad. My family of 3 all limited out opening day but since then we are only getting a couple each outing. Trying to figure out myself why it is soo bad this year, poor sunflower crop, over hunted or what. My son has going to a private field outside Temple and doing well so I know there are birds in the area, but why they are avoiding Solano is a mystery.

I grew up in Salado where the ranch is located and have been back a few times to hunt. Also have talked to ALOT of guys in that area that have been hunting this year. It's a really slow year for that fly way. Most guys I've talked to down there are considering 5 or 6 birds a decent hunt this year. I live up in North DFW now and he hunt a lease around and have seen the same thing. Good news is we are starting to see more and more birds up here. So won't be long till they make it down to yall!
If you hear me shoot my third shot, it means I missed!

Yeah 5 or 6 birds would be great. Hunted it last Sunday and only saw 2-3 that were way out of range. Only good thing about the slow hunt is it is giving me time to work with my 6 month old GSP . She keeps herself entertained when not retrieving but chasing grasshoppers and butterflys. Hoping this weather change improves things next week.
