Not exactly sure where to put this. Last weekend someone abandoned a pup at our deer lease. I found it outside at 12:30 am curled up beside my boots outside my camp trailer. There are no other homes in the area. At daybreak she was still there. She has a real sweet nature but "cowers" very easily when walked towards. Never has barked and shows no aggressiveness at all. Last night I was at the lease I picked her up and put her in my trailer. She never moved all night long so she more than likely has never been inside a house before. I brought her home with me and gave her a bath. She had no issues riding in my truck on the floor board. She had a couple of ticks on her but other than that I could not find any sores. She interacted with my Cocker very well. Poor girl is half starved and really needs attention, loves people but is very reserved. I don't know her breed, probably hinez 57 but has stripped markings on her body. She appears to be less than a year old by her body size and her teeth. She has small feet and probably grow to be around 30 pounds guessing. I am in the process of building a house, living in a rental unit, and moving so it is not the best time to have another boarder but if no one can provide her a "good" home I will keep her in a heart beat. By her sweet personality would be great with small kids.

ttt, just fyi, I have her coming into the house at night time by her self without carrying her in. She has not had an accident in the house since I brought her home. Seems to be coming around with her trust issues. Little more energy now and doesn't cower constantly like she used to. Actually coming to me now wanting me to scratch her belly.

Update: Had a date with the vet today. Overall she is in good shape, just needs a little more fat on her. Got her shots, checked for heart worms, she is negative. Was told that she is around 1 year old. Also, that is as big as she is going to get.
