Both green and dry. The brush is green but the grass is dry. The area can always use rain anytime of the year. Should be some good dove hunting this month and the deer should be in good shape for the up coming season.

yes, south texas has been drying out the last month or so. enough rain earlier on that brush is in good shape and the deer should be looking good. but the grass and the soil have dried back out some. I was further south toward Hebbronville a couple weeks ago and hunted some of the early whitewing days. birds were slower. will be back this weekend hoping for better and to check on the blinds/feeders and such.
