This is a McGowan barrel chambered in 300BO for a Remington 700, 1 in 8 twist, and threaded 5/8x24.
I also have a Hogue short action Remington 700 stock. It is pillar bedded.
These came from a rifle that a buddy of mine made in gunsmithing school. The barrel has 120 rounds through it. It shot lights out. But I found I didn't use it much and I had the rifle rebarreled to 223. Now these need to belong to someone else. You can see from the pics that the finish is not perfect. But the scratches and rubs are not in the steel.
The barrel is $160
The stock is $75
The pair together is $180 (I think you see where I'm going with this)
