They are having their Inaugural SC tourney September 23rd. 100 12 gauge targets $65, 50 sub gage, $35.

I may go shoot it, anyone interested?

Is it registered targets? If so and I'm off, I'll go.

I'll be there. May do Skeet and Sporting Clays.

I haven't been yet. How does this place stack up to Elm Form or Fossil Pointe?

I would classify it as much more primitive than those two.

I shot skeet over the weekend it was fine. Setup is a little primitive but it's a start, it was around 30 dollars to shot four rounds.

Are they using cords or voice activated pullers? The voice activated pullers at Elm Fork have a definite delay in them, even worse if you don't know how to set it up properly when you start and the people behind the counter have not been trained on them so no help.

DFW is using cords. Wasn't aware Elm Fork was using voice activated pullers. I know they have a button on the skeet fields that will give you a three second delay if you you ard shooting by yourself.

Still delayed targets? No center post, no out of bounds posts or distance posts? Crooked/slanted pads? Refusal to adjust targets (since that can't hoop them without a center post)? Yep, pretty much SOP!

And since they have a part in DFW Clay Target Sports you may be able to expect the same there.

I don't believe Elm Fork has anything to do with CTS. It's largely a YTF led initiative and there's more than a little family history between those two.
