Has anyone had luck with afternoon teal? I normally do well in a certain area during big duck season and have been seeing teal there just don't know if they'll be there

Not worth the effort. You wont get much of a return. Besides, they head to the roost in the evening anyway. Not to feed. If you know where they are during the day, then that means they are there feeding and the best option is to get there in the morning and catch them on the way in.

I smack them in the afternoon. It's bit realistic for me to bring my 4 year old out at 4am so afternoons are a must sometimes. Jmo
