I have never seen so many fawns. We have singles, doubles, and one set of triplets. Amazing what rain, grass and lusty bucks will do to the deer population. And I don't know where the coyotes went. I can't find one to shoot and the nighttime howling isn't like it used to be.

Not my monkeys, not my circus...

We got them too. We hear coyotes but not close to us.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

I saw a lot of deer at the place on Saturday, but hardly any I would identify as fawns. Out of 25+, maybe 4 fawns. Lots of does and young bucks, though.

That's great! I put up a feeder pen last Saturday and anxious to see how many fawns I have. The hogs had run my doe's off the feeder. Hogs really bad in Navarro right now...
