Has anyone been scouting for teal? Full moon + cool front should mean plenty of teal! Wednesday, we had plenty of birds to kill a few limits...went out this morning, didn't see one. They are down at the coast and will probably stay down there because there won't be any real pressure on them.

Teal tags in Rockwall County Walmart were sold out, had to get them at the one in Royse City. Well royse city is in Rockwall county too

I am going dove hunting instead

North TX... no rhyme or reason. Sure we had a cold front, fullish moon, but still a major crap shoot.
The last two years I went out scouting Fri morning and found a good number that really wanted a certain spot. 24 hours later, they gone. Maybe I'll go out tomorrow, find 0 birds but good habitat, and have the opposite happen. Fact Early teal in north east Texas are as frustrating as they come. Well I'm half way there! Scouted 4 hours this morning and saw 3 BWT in one spot. Now if I just go hunt that spot I bet 300 show up tomorrow.
