Couple good deer congrats. On the longer shot and the deer not moving, I have heard that from several people, and seen it on one myself. Seems like some deer just don't react much at all when the noie is further out from them. Talked to a guy yesterday that said he shot a doe with his Ravin at 107 yards at a feeder, said whe raised her head and looked his direction then got hit b the bolt. I shot one at 50 yards aa few years ago that was walking slowly all it did was stop and look my direction

Dropped my first crossbow buck this past Saturday. Super geeked up about it!!! Sidenote, was shooting 100 grain Grim Reaper Fatal Steel broadhead and it failed to open. Good penetration and shot placement saved the day

Purchased my first xbow several days ago. I got the Centerpoint 370 from Cabela's. The scope it came with was TOTAL crap. I replaced it with one that illuminates. I zeroed it in at Cabela's the best way we could since its only about 10 yards. When we were doing it we noticed the bolts acted way different every time, they were all over the place. I changed over to the Carbon Express 20-inch Pile Driver bolts with the 125 grain field point. First shot was left by 3 inches and low. Made adjustments and hit about 3 inches high (which is what you want at 10 yards from what I have been told) but perfectly centered. Shot the second bolt and I "robin hooded" the two arrows. The tech was impressed so they gave me a new bolt for free. From that point on I was able to get VERY tight groups (within an inch) over the next 5 shots. Going hunting this weekend in east Texas hoping to kill some hogs and a deer if I see it.

Make sure you shoot with your broadheads, before hunting
