Friend of mine gave me Carte Blanche with a short action rifle build. Rifle will shoot for fun, as well as hunt. Once I got all the parts from the gunsmith, and made it a whole rifle, it was time to build some fuel for it. Virgin Lapua CCI BR-2 H-Varget 162 gr Hornady ELD-X . . . 90°F, wind 2 o'clock 2-7 mph. Prone, Harris bipod, rear bag.

Tikka action.
It is sub 1/4 MOA, vertical.
Working men use a sharp pocket knife, and a Nicholson file for manicures. Yesterday evening I ran it down the range. Working the MV backwards into the calculator, it's making 2690 fps MV. It even managed a center hit on the 8" at 800 yards before I packed up and went home.
Really anxious to see the velocity increase, once all 200 pieces of brass are fire formed, and I redo load development.

Buzz i will guarantee. 25 moa on anything i build, but it will be with me shooting it, with a load worked up for the rifle. I get you dont like tikkas, though im not sure why and it's clear you have had some bad experiences with rifle builds, but you are welcome to shoot anything ive built. Or ill just run ya for pinks, and ill even shoot off a bench;)

Should pick up almost 100fps over that with fully formed brass. I suggest neck sizing if possible for one more firing before setting up the bump on the fl die. It might not be needed but it helps ensure you get a fully formed case.
