What are you changing? Knowing how to shoot makes a big difference. Opening morning I got my limit with 29 shells. 50%, that's about average for me with dove. I shoot skeet better.

rickym, you did great !!! everyone misses a few they should have hit...hit a few they should have missed and then there are always a few you just can't find.

I have lost 1 bird this year. 68 shots, 13 dove though half of my shots are 40-60 yards. I cant stand birds flying that close in the begining of the season and not letting some lead fly. Should probably consider a modified choke instead of ic.

Im tryin to quit looking down the barrel and using the bead. Instead focusing on the bird and just swinging the gun. Im sure im still doin it wrong though

I'm right there with you rickym. I should have had a limit on Friday. Wingshooting is like sex for me - I love doing it but I'm just not that good at it.

I try and keep it under a box, but 50% is about par for me with dove. I could do better of I tried, but I was shooting #8 with IC, 45 yards is max I should shoot, length of a skeet field, but I took a lot of longer shots at high flying white wing. I picked up 5x as many shells as a shot.
